Clarks “Cardy” – Black Round Toe Boots

We’ve been a fan of Clarks shoes for years. So when we discovered the “Cardy”, womens dress round toe boots, we were delighted. At 2 inches, the heels are not too high, but we do like the looks of the tall 16 inch shaft. And the rich, black leather makes them even more adorable. Clark has included a full zipper but the wide calf already makes it easier to slip into this footwear for women who have big calves from running or walking. And their Active Air technique of adding an extra cushioned footbed really does make a difference. Ladies will quickly realize how comfortable this footwear is.

These are considered black dress boots, but they can easily be worn as an everyday shoe. Wear them to work and you’ll get lots of compliments. They’re not so hot and sexy that your boss might take notice. Yet, the “Cardy” still has an exciting stylish design for a great pair of dressy round toe boots for women. These is cute polished footwear that can be worn for hours as comfortably as a pair of flats. They also come in a cafe brown color. Sizes go up to 11M or order the wide W (D) width if you have larger/wider feet.

Flat Heel Boots by Born “Norelle”

With it’s riding style design, these flat heel black boots are stylish enough to build your winter footwear around this season. The Born “Norelle” is a cute pair of black leather tall boots that are also available in brown suede or brown metallic finish as well. The low heel has additional support from the steel shank that’s built in for added comfort. But still, the arch support is only moderate. An good pair of orthotic inserts might help with this. The full grain leather that surrounds the 15 inch high shaft is a very soft, long lasting material.

The 15 inch circumference is made for medium to larger calves. There are better styles and brands for women with narrow legs. With extra space in the toe box, there should be little concern about pinched toes. The front is more rounded compared to pointy toed shoes. This is nice looking, basic black footwear. The Born brand is known for comfort and this one is no different. Ladies will find these flat heeled boots have a sleek, simple style in either the black or brown version.

Narrow Calf Boots: La Canadienne “Ramona”

This one is for all the women looking for beautiful slim calf boots that provide a perfect fit for skinny legs. La Canadienne is known world wide for their excellent craftsmanship and fine Italian materials. This gorgeous Canadian boot is crafted with supple calfskin black leather and then sealed to be waterproof. With it’s 2 inch mid heels and shaft height of almost 15 inches, this is fantastic for those cold days in the fall and winter when women want to dress with lots of fashion and keep their feet warm too.

The sleek 13 inch calf size offers a great fit for a woman’s thin calves. The toe shape is not too pointed and the heels are not too tall making this sophisticated, stylish footwear. These are fabulous slim boots for skinny calves by Le Canadienne. They’re a little more expensive than an average dress shoe, but once you slip them on your feet, you’ll instantly see how chic they look and how comfortable they feel without a break-in period. This is footwear that you’ll keep for years.

Steve Madden “Hunny” – Women’s Boots with Buckles

As far as we’re concerned, these are fabulous black leather dress boots from Steve Madden “Hunny”. With their distinctive buckles and straps that accent the tall shaft, we think they look awesome without being overdone. And women who have a narrow calf with a wide toe will adore them. Made with a slouch style, women will really like the soft black leather and comfortable fit when they first put them on. But they’re not designed for a wide calf. Thin calves will get a better fit. If these are your first knee high boots with 3 inch heels, you’ll be pleased. Not much of a pointed toe on the Hunny. It’s more rounded providing a cute style change. Most women should have enough room in the toe box, especially if you have a narrow foot. And ladies can always wear a heavier sock if needed.

We like that the stylish straps attached around the calf can be adjusted. This will allow for a tighter or looser fit around your legs, giving you a more comfortable snug look. Even if you have small ankles, this should work well. If you want a more scrunch appearance, just tuck in your Levi jeans and move the soft leather down slightly around your legs. Most reviews think these dressy, black leather boots look better than the picture indicates. The Steve Madden “Hunny” seems to offer good value for the price.
